Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2011

Fresh off the runways of Milan, Alexander McQueen wows us yet again with its latest Pre-Fall collection showcased just last week.

The collection stayed true to a military-inspired theme, making use of the limited color palette of navy, red and black with hints of metal detail and chain embroidery. Each piece creates the perfect masculine-feminine mix with its bold shoulders, fur collars and double-breasted jackets. Trust me, the entire collection is to die for!

Designer Sarah Burton, who took over as the brand’s creative director shortly after McQueen’s sudden death last year, has been on the mark in continuing the legacy of the late Lee Alexander McQueen, keeping the brand alive and thriving. More exciting things are to come for this brand, for sure, so you better watch out, people!

Here are some of my favorites from the collection. I’d love to hear what you guys have to think!
